Position Overview…
MobileIron is seeking to strengthen its product management leadership team by adding a Senior Director of Product Management, Windows Platform to scale and manage its Windows platform product line. This is an outstanding career opportunity for an exceptional product management professional.
As a pivotal member of the product management team, the Senior Director of Product Management will lead the vision and strategy for MobileIron’s EMM product capabilities focused on the Windows platform.
As a senior leader of the product management team, the Senior Director of Product Management, Windows Platform will be responsible for defining the roadmap required to successfully win in the market while providing exceptional knowledge of the market, the product, the product line, and the competition. The ideal candidate will have had experience developing enterprise software products including client applications as well as premises-, cloud- or web-based services and applications.
The Senior Director of Product Management, Windows Platform will be tasked with providing product expertise and thought leadership to MobileIron engineering, sales, marketing and customer success teams. He/She will steer the development of MobileIron’s products based on the feedback received from customers, partners and understandings of the market overall. The Senior Director of Product Management, Windows Platform will also be the site executive for MobileIron’s Bellevue, Washington location managing day-to-day operations for this remote office facility.
Professional Qualifications…
• Direct hands-on experience leading product management for Enterprise class software and systems including experience developing on the Windows platform with either SaaS and/or On-Premises software is required, though both would be ideal.
• Relevant experience within the enterprise mobile and security ecosystem would be a strong positive along with the ability to create security products that are easy-to-use and mobile friendly.
• Success developing and scaling a software platform to support high demand, high availability, highly complex and massive scalability.
• You must demonstrate a track record of creating world-class enterprise software products and experience with the Agile development methodology is a must. Experience with enterprise software pricing, packaging, positioning and go-to-market strategies are essential for the successful candidate.
• The ideal candidate has managed and grown product management teams while demonstrating successful recruitment, development and retention of employees while also building strong business fundamentals behind the products managed. You must demonstrate the ability to measure and manage the underlying business of your products.
• A natural leader who is able to articulate a clear product vision & strategy for execution, while establishing best practices and processes to achieve them. A leader whom others want to work for and with, and who can establish immediate credibility. Someone who is able to have deep technical conversations / brainstorming sessions.
• Self-confidence, without an ego, to have both the conviction and willingness to make decisions as well as the confidence to seek collaborative solutions.
• Ability to bring and project the passion and energy to work in a “start-up” like culture. This individual will have experience promoting a highly collaborative, team oriented and intellectually honest culture locally, as well as across international boundaries with remote teams.
• The right product management leader will have a technical degree, and will have spent a portion of their career in a core software development role.
