Your Impact:
As a senior member of the Product Management team, you have the opportunity to shape our Mobile product strategy to allow organizations to engage with their customers TBD.
You accomplish this via direct hands-on ownership as well as leadership - both direct and by influence to drive the product strategy, roadmap, launch and operations of products with a global mindset. You will own and manage the Marketing Cloud MobilePush application and will ensure it provides marketers with a world class experience and allows them to perform key tasks with ease.
You will be a key player in helping accelerate the growth of the Mobile product line. Your overarching focus will be on bringing innovative product ideas to market - with a relentless focus on the customers and developers. You bring strong product oriented thinking combined with communication, analytical and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in cross-channel campaign management and building out a robust set of marketing tools to empower marketers to leverage real-time customer & behavioral data to run event-driven marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Success will be measured by the overall performance of your product line, which will include; product performance, stability, strong adoption by customers and revenue growth.
• Develop and drive a long term vision for Marketing Cloud Customer Success with push notifications and related mobile app engagement technologies
• Work with customers, sales teams, and services teams to identify product use cases and drive key features, enhancements and requirements
• Identify new opportunities and build business cases for bringing them to Market
• Lead a team of world-class product managers providing guidance and direction to achieve the product vision for customer centric and global product launches
• Work collaboratively with product and corporate marketing teams to develop marketing plans, positioning, core messaging, presentations, demos and sales tools to support the launch of new products with customers
• Work with industry analysts and product reviewers to articulate the value proposition and differentiators in the offering
• Define and manage the product roadmap, setting of and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders including the senior leadership team
• Understand the existing product, product market fit, customer usage patterns, and integration with other Marketing Cloud products
• Dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
• Evangelize our mobile app engagement capabilities to internal stakeholders, customers, prospects and others; participate in customer-facing events and user conferences as a product expert
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Deep understanding of push notification and other mobile app engagement capabilities offered by Apple, Google and other mobile operating system providers
• Experience as a product leader on a business critical, high volume, high growth messaging system
• Experience designing, delivering and managing developer facing products such as SDKs and APIs
• Intellectual thought leadership to the Product Management function, drive with rigor the product development process in a results oriented partnership model
• Self-starter with ability to lead large scale projects and build new technical products from the ground up independently
• High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
• Superior verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired as is bringing customer oriented products to market
• Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases and clearly communicate data insights to others
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
Minimum Requirements:
• Track record of successful enterprise software product development within an agile environment.
• Occasional travel to meet with key customers to understand product needs and issues
• BA/BS (preferably in a Computer Science related discipline), MBA preferred
• 5+ years of Technical Leadership
• Experience with CRM, marketing applications and/or cloud computing
