eIT is looking for a dynamic leader who will manage a global team of IT project managers to successfully support global growth by partnering with the Business, Corp Real Estate, Corp Network & Voice teams and other key business partners to ensure the IT infrastructure for Expedia, Inc. Real Estate and Refresh initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
• Build, develop, manage and lead the current team of IT project managers in the US, EMEA and APAC regions
• Actively manage resource allocation to ensure delivery of services and projects including leveraging matrixed/shared resources worldwide
• Provide leadership focus, mentorship and management expertise to strengthen IT team performance and morale
• Provide overall technology leadership, vision and enhanced solutions & problem solving for all related delivery of IT infrastructure for Expedia, Inc Real Estate projects in coordination with the existing team and key business partners & stakeholders
• Partner with product management and strategy teams to ensure ongoing alignment and execution of continuous improvement programs
• Prioritization of programs, projects and service improvements
• Implementation of key metrics to measure IT success vs. business needs
• Provide cost transparency for IT cost and deliverables
• Administer and manage to IT spend for corporate real estate projects against annual budget, subsequent forecast and actuals
• Build relationships with IT team members, remote peers, corporate real estate, facilities, product team, procurement, contractors/consultants and other key stakeholders to improve delivery of projects and implement ongoing improvement efforts
Preferred:
• Experience working in an international organization preferred
• Experience working with a matrix organization and remote management
• IT management experience in a team leadership role
• Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills
• Strong financial management experience and focus
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Solutions focused and customer, quality and results driven
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills are essential
Educational Qualifications (majority of the following)
• ITIL Foundation, Practitioner or Managers Certificate
• University Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Related field
• Prince 2 Foundation or Practitioner, or equivalent project management training/certification (PMP)
