Team Description
Our Sales team shares Dropbox Business with enterprises around the world, helping them understand the power Dropbox has to offer teams at scale. The Sales Excellence and Operations team is focused on driving sales productivity by delivering insights, tools, training and processes. We are building a world-class operations organization. We are a collaborative and empathetic team, focused on understanding what businesses need to work better together.
Role Description
As the Director of Global Revenue Strategy, you will work closely with our Revenue leadership team to set our strategy and drive change across the organization. You will also partner with cross functional teams to ensure that key initiatives are implemented smoothly. You will help build and develop our Revenue Excellence and Operations team to become truly world class.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and Sales Operations leaders and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with Dropbox’s sales leadership to define and develop key business insights, drive scalable growth strategies, and help support the execution of plans
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape and guide the initial implementation of strategic plans across the globe
• Drive high priority initiatives including (but not limited to) strategic planning, territory optimization, process optimization, forecast modeling
• Be the thought partner for sales leadership and company leadership and measure the effectiveness of the sales and channel organizations. Provide leading indicators to company management to ensure investments are on-track
• Build strong peer-level relationships with Dropbox senior management
• Drive accountability and a foundation for sustained and predictable growth across the Sales organization
• Effectively lead, manage, train, and motivate the broader team
Requirements:
• Leadership, energy, presence, passion, discipline and influencing skills
• 8-10 years of experience with customer centric SaaS company background
• Detailed knowledge of SaaS sales cycles; Quota carrying experience highly preferred
• Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders; experience with a rapidly scaling business is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and experience in developing and implementing strategies with clear business impact through a data driven approach
• Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives
• Proven ability to recruit, build, develop and coach high-performing teams
