We’re looking for a stellar leader to develop and lead a team of platform product managers responsible for increasing the reach, content and value of the Bazaarvoice network. This role will make a strategic contribution, driving and delivering on our network strategy, as well as an operational one, driving excellence of the platform product management function. This role will report to the SVP of SaaS Products.
Responsibilities of the role include:
• Develop and lead a team of high performance Product Managers
• Drive product strategy and roadmap, drive to timely decisions at Executive and staff level, and communicate to the company, its customers and partners
• Collaborate closely with peers in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Sales and Services to ensure product success
• Harvest and propagate best practices within Product Management and stakeholder teams and define process improvements, learning objectives and training plans to address
• Forecast business impact from product plans and measuring and communicating success or failure of initiatives after launch
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role
• Extensive SaaS product management experience with a track record of success in previous roles
• Specific experience managing SaaS platforms, including API/SDK offerings, data-as-a-service offerings, 3rd party partner integrations, developer programs
• Demonstrated ability to craft product strategies based on the needs of the market. Ability to use market research and data to make disciplined product and strategy decisions
• Proven ability to work with a larger cross-functional team to define the team’s product strategy, operational plan and detailed roadmap
• Exceptional ability to self-manage, self-motivate and prioritize to be effective even in times of ambiguity
• Results-driven; has a strong bias for action
• Optimistic and enthusiastic
• Top-notch analytical skills; ability to translate complex business issues into clear goals and measure against those goals
• Experience managing multiple projects from concept to delivery while meeting schedules and budget
• Experience working closely with partners on strategy, product integration, and business metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the desire and ability to present to and influence internal and external audiences
• BS/BA degree in related field required
• Master's degree and/or 10+ years professional related work experience
