What You'll Do
• Direct team of Managing Architects and Business Architects to meet or exceed sales bookings targets and other individual business objectives and metrics
• Lead Business Architecture within the targeted region(s) to focus on customer engagements by industry
• Lead business architecture discipline within the targeted region(s) by aligning business architecture execution and deliverables with overall customer engagement model
• Drive growth and scale of business architecture through industry prioritization, partnerships, competency definition, compensation, and architect engagement model
• Lead analysis of business architecture engagements through metrics and dissemination of best practices
• Coordinate technical engagement of Managing Architects and Business Architects with Systems Engineering Directors across the region(s)
• Lead establishment and alignment of architectural communities to allow acceleration of sales through sharing of artifacts and best practices
• Lead mentoring of field technical leaders on digital strategies, solutions, platforms, business challenges, and customer engagement tactics/strategies
• Work alongside the Practice Directors and Business Solutions leadership to ensure coordination and execution of business architecture with respect to the solution portfolio as part of the overall DTG Go-to-Market plan in alignment with customer digital business strategies
• Demonstrate leadership and collaborate with cross functional teams in DTG strategy creation and model planning
• Lead activities extending outside the DTG organization – including industry events, trade shows, Cisco regions and segments, customer briefings, and internal business entity influence

Who You Are
• Deep applied industry knowledge in an executive leadership role working at a customer, partner, or industry aligned OEM/ISV
• Must have applied experience serving as a director or manager of solution, information, application, infrastructure, or enterprise architects
• Expertise in consultative selling approaches and establishing credibility as trusted advisor by executives, architects, and industry personnel
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategy according to agreed-upon budgets, revenue targets and operating guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to map technology and architectures to industry business imperatives across industry areas
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in an environment of high autonomy
• Experience creating and communicating compelling messages to C-level executives, with an ability to leverage logic, experience, facts, and passion to influence others
• Thorough understanding of cross-industry competitive landscapes, digital strategies, emerging technologies, and applicability to customer environments
• Proven ability to work with other executives in the development of strategic direction and oversight of the organization
• Ability to lead teams of diverse backgrounds to deliver quality results
• 15+ years industry experience or equivalent preferred
• BA/BS degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership style which builds alliances and emphasizes high morale, effective team work and high professional standards
• Ability to listen, establish relationships, gain consensus, establish credibility, and gain confidence of multiple stakeholders across Cisco, Partners, and the Digital Transformation Group
• Ability to balance organizational growth, team leadership, and customer management
• Demonstrated ability to build alliances, grow team morale, and seek cross-functional support to achieve success
• Demonstrated creativity and team focus in a dynamic, fast paced, and changing environment
• Strong communication and listening skills, a thorough approach to complex problem solving, and a high motivation towards setting goals and delivering time sensitive results
