DESCRIPTION
The Director of Amazon Home Services (Operations) will be responsible for leading the end-to-end fulfillment experience for Amazon Home Services. We estimate that US consumers spent $640B on purchasing services that can be transacted online. Amazon Home Services, launched last year, is our initial foray into value added services. The leader will be responsible for continuing to innovate on and scale the Amazon Home Services experience.
Strategic Objectives
• Innovate on the end-to-end fulfillment experience for new Amazon Home Services categories.
• Operationalize the experience and implement processes and metrics to scale the business.
• Expand new service selection and coverage into new locales.
• This is a highly visible position that will interact will all levels of Amazon’s leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The role requires innovative thinking balanced with a strong customer and quality focus. This leader will have a strong track record of achieving that balance.
This leader will lead the organization through change, evolution, and sustained growth. The right leader will evolve and scale the organization along with the business. They will lead by example, being just as passionate about operational performance and predictability as they are about all other aspects of the customer experience. With the business growing this rapidly, this leader will not have the luxury of having tunnel-vision for any one area; rather, this individual will need to exhibit excellent judgment on how to prioritize between competing priorities.
