DESCRIPTION
Amazon Creative Services is seeking a talented and passionate Creative Leader to create innovative, visually stunning and effective advertising experiences that tell stories and drive business performance for the world’s leading brands across China in order to raise the bar for Amazon brand communications and advertising.
The ideal candidate will combine creative inspiration with the ability to create functional, user-centered concepts that connect with Amazon.cn customers across all channels.
You will work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to bring ideas to life to drive new business. The ideal candidate will have a deep portfolio that demonstrates creative excellence in bringing major brands and products to life. This role is for a highly capable creative leader who can direct internal and external creative resources, and has the composure and communication talent to effectively present to senior executives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, inspire and build Amazon’s internal agency to deliver creative breakthrough campaigns.
• Establish and foster a culture that enables world-class creative development.
• Effectively develop cross functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop ad strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions.
• Hands on creative development for key initiatives across channels.
• Deep understanding of digital and new media.
• Lead creative development of innovative advertising, from concept to delivery.
• Develop ideas and that will deploy across Amazon businesses globally.
• Own, develop and evangelize brand personality and purpose globally.
• Quickly develop concept mockups to visualize new ideas in context.
• Present ad concepts effectively to senior executives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience driving compelling print creative strategy and execution.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent presentation skills and interactive story telling ability
• Art direction experience and designer oversight with attention for detail and superb user engagement
• Experience setting creative direction, coordinating and reviewing the work of the design team and other clients and internal stakeholders to ensure highest quality and unity of visual style
• Team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Strong people manager with a proven ability to hire, develop and grow world class design teams[Office7]
• Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop and the full Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated experience managing creative processes through external ad agencies, internal teams and freelancers.
• English at business/Native level required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with a world-class advertising agency or internal corporate agency environment
• Bachelor degree in design or equivalent professional experience required, Masters degree preferred
• Motion Design skills is a plus
• Proven experience as a leader for moving image production & conceptualization
• Unwavering dedication to craft from idea to execution.
• Have strong bias for action in a fast-paced, metric driven environment.
• Curiosity to dig several layers deep into success metrics, have an innate desire to understand key drivers.
• Demonstrated business acumen, including experience of budgeting and resourcing.
• Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills.
• Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business and user interaction priorities.
