As the Growth Ops / Project Manager lead on the Global Expansion team at WeWork, you will serve as a cross-functional resource primarily dedicated to supporting the Expansion Team in their efforts to drive high velocity growth and hit ambitious revenue goals. This role will be part-entrepreneur, part- execution, part strategic analysis, and part cross-functional.
This role will pivot from being an internal strategic resource and sounding board for the team, to being a field researcher dedicated to learning how competitors drive business in the market and how WeWork can drive their value for across segment staples in order to improve data analysis and operations, product development and sales efforts. You will lead a high-velocity effort to build the business model and GTM to establish WeWork’s place within the minds of all growth segments.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the right-hand for the Head of Expansion in all areas including, market analysis, Research Real Estate, Sales and Retention
• Provide analytical support in order to develop and define business model for market segment
• Provide support to Expansion Leads across the market from a due diligence standpoint and Technical / analytical support
• Build KPIs, goals and levers for business growth in the segment at the global, national, regional and city level
• Manage core Sales Operations responsibilities and processes such as goal setting, forecasting, Salesforce adoption, and enablement
• Build dashboards via Salesforce and BI tools to track, manage, and provide insights on KPIs
• Support stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Research, Community, Real Estate, and Finance
• Support real estate and design in planning of new markets and growth for product rollouts
• Support and empower Regional Growth Ops Leads who support territories or specialization
• Lead strategic analysis, recommendations and execution on pricing across all regions and buildings
• Develop detailed presentations and convey information to senior level staff across multiple functions
Qualifications:
• Entrepreneurial and “growth hacker” mentality
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights
• Strong communication and presentation skills to senior management
• Ability to develop, create and improve systems, structures, and processes
• Strong executive presence; experience and comfort level working with C-level executives
• 4-6 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or venture capital.
• 2+ years Startup experience a plus
• Deep experience using Salesforce and Excel
• Experience with SQL, R, and/or other programming languages a plus
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record working in a high growth, unstructured and fast-paced environment
