We are seeking a Senior Director, Product Management to lead the product vision, strategy and delivery of Salesforce CPQ Quote to Cash product. In this role, you will manage a team of product managers to expand upon our offering and create a market leading product that helps our customers achieve success.
You should:
• Have a track record as a leader who has demonstrated they can build, coach & develop a high performing product team.
• Be someone who knows how to partner with design, engineering & other product teams to ship products that create customer value.
• Have a successful track record of developing product strategy and leading teams to ship product features that bring the strategy to life.
• Be a customer centric, data driven decision maker who has proven ability to build product systems & process that help your product managers excel.
• Have excellent communication skills, and the ability to confidently share vision & roadmap to internal and external audiences.
• Have demonstrated success taking winning products to market, including all the go to market and enablement tasks this requires
• Have a passion for Salesforce, our values, our mission & and our products.
• Ideally, be experienced in managing Quote to Cash or Billing enterprise SaaS products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Define and execute our CPQ product strategy, vision & roadmap, working closely with partners in UX and Engineering.
• Coach, mentor & manage a team of product managers. Elevate our processes, practices & capabilities with your direct PM's to create a world class product org.
• Leverage market analysis, competitive knowledge, product data, BI data & customer research to define product roadmap.
• End to end product life cycle management including market needs, product strategy, roadmap, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success.
• Indirectly lead a team of designers, developers, quality engineers, and technical writers to build new features in an agile development methodology.
• Act as a member of the CPQ & Billing product leadership team, championing cross team efforts to elevate our overall product team capabilities.
• Be a leader in the continued growth of the Sales Cloud & Quote to Cash ecosystem, specifically with our ISV, Developer and System Integrator ecosystem, to drive continuing expansion of our technology in the marketplace.
• Develop and curate sales enablement assets including presentations, videos, demos, solution maps, white papers, data sheets, etc.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills both internally and externally. This is essential to gaining buy-in, collaborating internally and supporting our customers and partners externally
• Perform the role of champion to promote and evangelize the product and new features with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers.
• Organize and support industry events, campaigns, customer advisory boards and social media communications
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Minimum of 10 years experience leading a product line in platform space, demonstrated leadership experience in building platform products, Quote to Cash or Billing domains.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills. Has shown an ability to grow, develop, and retain top product management talent. Has a deep understanding of development processes and methodologies.
• Undergraduate degree is required; a relevant technical or business (MBA) post-graduate degree is preferred.
