Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for Global Payroll.
• Accounting for international (non-US) payroll, which involves interpreting labor laws in the regions.
• Collaborate with Payroll Operations team to understand underlying transactions and ensure proper posting.
• Assist in preparing annual reconciliations, including inventory reconciliations, for external auditors and year-end close.
• Partner with Finance team to investigate and reconcile variances in financials.
• Work with payroll management on projects to develop automated/future-state processes.
• Work with global cost center managers to field inquiries regarding compensation expense.
• Collaborate with Benefits team to reconcile the various benefit liabilities and perform variance analysis on the benefit expenses.
Qualifications
• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4-6 years of experience in Accounting
• Prior Big 4 experience a plus
• CPA preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel
• Workday experience preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
