This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the individual licensing channels via data analysis, research and troubleshooting issues, handling of escalated and sensitive issues, attending and conducting project related meetings, serves as the subject matter expert for both internal and external customers on high profile issues or technical issues, maintains vendor relations, maintaining and supporting compliance procedures, maintaining insurance appointment renewals, and processes high level organization changes within the administration systems. Is also responsible for writing test plans, testing and signing off on end to end testing for licensing projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Leads advanced processing for high level organizational changes and “For Cause” Terminations
• Represents Licensing on all Projects within the Allstate Enterprise. Responsible for evaluating scope and impact of projects to determine impact to Licensing. Also responsible for making project decisions and recommendations regarding project changes and solutions. They are responsible for providing all Requirements gathering requests, including any/all information for the Project needed from the Licensing perspective, as well as analyzing and determining all potential impacts to Licensing based on Project implications. Responsible for managing project implications from start to finish; communication, change management, communicates process/procedural changes, Training and Compliance. Also attends and conducts all project-related meetings
• Acts as subject matter expert for both internal & external customers. Completes research associated with sensitive escalated situations. Builds relationships and team involvement with many areas within AF.
• Fulfills reporting requirements which includes running, formatting, validating & distributing ad hoc reports for internal and external customers, project and audits
• Updates compliance related procedures regarding appointment and termination rules
• Providing system requirements, testing, configuration, and data analytics for various Licensing specific systems. Will also be involved with end to end testing and sign offs.
• Act as a liaison to the compliance area on such things as SOX, market conducts and department of insurance inquiries
• Interacts on behalf of Licensing with State DOIs regarding complex questions
• Pays Licensing bills, including renewal payments and vendor payments
Job Qualifications
A minimum of a 2 year Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree required
2 to 4 years job related experience preferred
2+ years of project management experience required
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Advanced systems thinker
Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of required Licensing systems preferred
Strong organizational skills with experience in project management, meeting deadlines, presenting results and system testing required
