Job Description
Everest Global Services, a member of Everest Re Group, Ltd., is seeking a hands-on Benefits Manager to join our progressive Human Resources team in our headquarters in Liberty Corner, New Jersey.
Reporting to our Benefits Director, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the group benefit plans; including medical, dental, vision, life, health savings accounts/flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, and defined contribution program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Recommend new or improved benefits plan designs, policies, efficiencies, and cost-saving measures.
• Participate in the evaluation, design and implementation of new benefit programs and systems.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Review and modify, as necessary Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions and administrative procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws including the ACA.
• Facilitate Open Enrollment process, health plan renewals and communication materials.
• Design and validate reports in the HRIS system.
• Knowledge of International Benefit Plans is a plus
Work Experience & Qualifications:
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years benefits experience with health and DC plans.
• A high attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to collect, organize and analyze data is required.
• Proven track record in the management of benefit plans and a strong knowledge of compliance issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• CEBS designation, or the pursuit of CEBS designation, preferred.
