Responsibilities
• Ensure that all open jobs are posted on external/university recruitment sites
• Assist in the reviewing of intern, staff and administrative position resumes
• Serve as a liaison between on-campus contacts to coordinate various activities, such as career fairs, and assist with the coordination of the various college recruiting events and activities
• Coordinate on campus and in office interviews, to include scheduling, preparation of candidate and interviewer packets, travel arrangements (if needed), catering requests and greeting of candidates
• Ensure that applicant profiles are complete in our applicant tracking system (iCims) to meet legal, regulatory, and audit compliance; includes uploading of interview evaluation forms
• Attend career fairs and recruitment events as needed
• Maintain and track recruiting give-away/material inventory; prepare and ship items needed for the various campus events
• Assist with the preparation and execution of on-boarding events for incoming intern and new hire classes
• Participate in various special assignments and projects, including but not limited to generating reports, conducting research, when requested or needed
• Provide general administrative support to the East Region HR team
Qualifications
• Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Management or related field
• Previous internship experience or office environment work experience preferred
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, exhibit a sense of urgency and strong commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, monitor and complete multiple tasks or projects, either independently and with a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work at least 24 hours per week through the Fall Semester
