Temporary Disaster Recovery Program QA/QC Senior Associate (Florida)

Responsibilities could include:
• Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews for a CDBG Disaster Recovery program
• Assist in the development and updating of policies and procedures
• Monitor and test procedures to detect fraud, waste, and abuse
• Document monitoring results and draft monitoring reports
• Perform deliverables reviews and data analytics
• Identify policy or program related compliance issues
• Make recommendations for and coordinate resolutions and improvements
• Communicate and interact with government officials and stakeholders on a daily basis
• Provide administrative and clerical support of project-related activities
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, fields of study in Accounting, Business, Construction Management or related field is a plus
• 3-5 years’ experience in CDBG-DR, housing, community development or related fields. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree requirements.
• Positive attitude and keen willingness to learn, demonstrating flexibility and accountability
• Superior client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationship
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking abilities
• Ability to learn and apply policy to specific circumstances
• Provide administrative and clerical support of project-related activities
• Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Other:
• Employment is contingent on the applicant’s ability to successfully pass the state of Florida background screening
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Be available for travel and overnight business trips
