Position Title: Treasury Management Support Specialist
Department: Treasury Management Operations
Grade: 10
Position Summary: The Treasury Management Support Services Specialist sells BusinessVue and BusinessVue Plus and deposit products and services to Bank customers. Provides sales support and assists associates, customers and prospective customers with electronic banking options, and business/consumer deposit products and services.
Major Responsibilities:
• Reviews BusinessVue agreements and reviews computer input of new customers.
• Tracks new BusinessVue customers and maintains BusinessVue contracts
• Actively calls customers regarding Bank products and services through coordinated referrals from branch and department sales staff.
• Understands and follows operating procedures for all business and consumer products. Provides professional sales support to customer and branches/department with business services products.
• Analyzes business customer’s needs to determine appropriate Treasury Management product based on customers needs.
• Monitors daily rejects for BusinessVue customers and supports their electronic email inquiries.
• Provides training for staff and customers as necessary.
• Demonstrates electronic banking products to Small Business customer when necessary.
• Working knowledge of BusinessVue Management and Business banking products and services along with account ownership policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of all banks electronic banking products.
• Maintains a professional appearance at all times when meeting with customers.
• Open new accounts for business customer when necessary
• Monthly report to Treasury Operations Manager on new Basic BusinessVue enrollments.
• Awareness of competitors Business products, pricing and campaigns to maintain competitive edge.
Other Responsibilities:
• Maintains a current understanding of state and federal regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Policy (CIP), National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Non-public Personal Information (NPPI) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations as related to Business Associate Agreements.
• Recommends banks products and services to customers and refers to appropriate sales staff.
• Researches existing customer base to make outbound calling efforts to promote BusinessVue.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, And Other Skills Required:
• High school diploma or GED required, undergraduate degree preferred.
• Two years operational background in a financial institution.
• Two years or related new accounts experience.
• Ability to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
• Professional with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows driven programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
