Director, Product Account Support & Deployment
Overview
• The Product Management Excellence (PME) team is responsible for championing the Product Management initiative including:
◦ Maintaining a culture of product management excellence
◦ Driving a change management agenda to advance the skills and mindset of employees accountable for product development and management
◦ Defining leading practices
◦ Providing thought leadership
◦ Providing tools and process to support product managers
• The Director, Product Management Excellence position is responsible for driving the Product Management discipline and framework across the product organizations: Products & Innovation (P&I) and Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (C&I) and working in partnership with the D&I PME team.
• Are you passionate about product innovation and product management?
• Do you have experience working with complex and cross-functional teams involved with the development and management of products including P&I, C&IS, D&S, Marketing, O&T, LFI, Sales and Delivery?
• Are you an effective communicator and able to influence and encourage others to work hard?
• Can you drive corrective behavior at programmatic scale?
• Have you supported a change agenda across a matrixed organization?
Role
• Support the Product Management Excellence initiative and adoption across Products P&I, C&IS organizations supporting cultural transformation
• Effectively engage and influence community of extended PME Leads across business lines and regions to align PME processes e.g. Regional Peer Review, establishment and reporting of product councils, share feedback, gather learnings and execute improvements
• Deliver PME communications to all Mastercard constituents
• Collaborate with all Mastercard functions engaged in Product Management to develop and enhance PME interactive guide, Confluence and tools
• Develop and manage Voice of Product / Voice of Customer to identify areas of improvement and communication: Annual Survey
• Technology:
◦ Manage migration to new PME central intranet and interactive guide (word press)
◦ Investigate and evaluate new technical solutions to automate PME as much as possible
• Work on selective cross-functional initiatives that require consultative strategic support
• Support KPI content development e.g. survey voice of customer and voice of product results, coaching initiatives
All About You
• Significant prior business experience in product management and /or product development
• Ability to influence and lead others by example through strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership on complex programs that require significant cross-functional teamwork and senior management engagement
• Act as a change agent assisting in the adoption of the Product Management Excellence framework
• Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
• Highly developed multi-cultural sensitivity
• Strong presentation and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, WordPress
• College Degree required; advanced degree a plus
