The Marketing & Leads function with Prudential Advisors is seeking an experienced Onboarding Specialist to support PruPassages, a cross-business referral program. The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated ability to drive multi-faceted projects to successful completion with limited oversight.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, versatility and strong collaboration across business units and corporate centers.
Responsibilities include:
• Drive the Record Keeping Organization (RKO) implementation process for employers that elect PruPassages from prospect stage to successful onboarding
• Internal support for external sales/distribution teams across business units (Financial Wellness, Prudential Advisors, Group Insurance)
• Ensure that all PruPassages customers, post implementation, are submitting files on the agreed upon frequency
• Work with Record Keeping Services (RKS) client coordinator if files have not been submitted on the agreed frequency to ensure an outreach to employers
• Monitor the progress of each client/benefit change and adjust to ensure successful completion of projects and initiatives
• Understanding of client issues and opportunities to deliver high impact solutions
• Ensures all outstanding issues that may interfere with successful implementation or ongoing administration is quickly mitigated and/or elevated to the appropriate levels
• Acts as a single point of contact for all Record Keeping Services RKS related issues, questions and concerns for each client being onboarded
• Responsible for communicating status and progress during implementation process to all business units (Financial Wellness, Prudential Advisors, Group Insurance)
• Extensive interaction and collaboration with internal business partners: Group Insurance: Client Data Management (CDM), Billing Claims, Contract Center, Distribution: Financial Wellness, Prudential Advisors, to support overall organizational goals and drive results
• Responsible for providing metrics, status updates and reporting to all business units on employers being onboarded to PruPassages
• Program management for the implementation process of PruPassages including establishing processes, defining measurements and tracking and addressing any potential compliance/risk issues
• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness of program measurement
• Attend team and business meetings
• Active participation in various projects and ad hoc assignments as requested
• Maintain day to day internal contact providing tactical support to internal and external business partners
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services
• Experience/knowledge of Group Insurance business specifically Record Keeping Services (RKS) preferred
• Understanding of the file feed/data exchange process in Record Keeping Services (RKS) preferred
• Knowledge of Compass preferred
• Ability to work independently and in groups with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated project or process management skills with ability to facilitate project workflow
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work across functional teams with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work under pressure and to easily adapt to changes in priorities to meet marketplace and business needs
• Ability to think strategically and creatively
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to travel 15-30%
This position can be based in either Prudential’s Dresher, PA or Newark, NJ location. Travel will be required between the Dresher, PA and the Newark, NJ offices approximately once a week or more frequently if based in Newark.
