The Healthcare Payment Implementation Project Manager will be a member of a team that is primarily responsible for the smooth implementation of Commerce Bank Health Services Financing (HSF). HSF is a cutting-edge patient loan financing program designed for Hospitals and Health Systems (Providers). HSF allows Providers to offer patients a Commerce Bank line of credit that can be offered in person or over the phone at any point in the revenue cycle, whether at scheduling, discharge, early-out collections, or even by your existing revenue cycle outsource partners.
The Implementation Project Manager must be knowledgeable of the healthcare industry, specifically revenue cycle and patient billing. A successful Implementation Project Manager will be able to understand, analyze and guide the client during the implementation phase of the product build. This level of expertise is necessary to ensure that our products and solutions meet the clients’ program goals while complementing their business systems, operations and workflow. In this capacity, the position will take the lead while simultaneously working closely with the Sales, Tech, Booking and Account Management Teams as well as directly with the Bank’s most influential clients. The position will work closely with Sales and Account Management to ensure products are appropriately described, presented, and implemented. Duties include calls with the implementation team (Sales, Account Management and Booking), ownership and coordination of the implementation process, onsite workshop, platform construction, weekly calls, manage open items list, stabilize programs, call Red Flags, identify client benchmark measurements, identify client story opportunities and formal client transitions to Account Management.
A successful Implementation Project Manager will have project management experience, confident telephone skills, impeccable organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects without direct supervision, be innovative, and communicate updates on implementation project status to multiple levels of individuals within the Customer’s organization, as well as with internal Commerce Bank teams.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Minimum Qualifications:
• College degree
• 2+ years business project/process management
• Working knowledge of a personal computer including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Extensive client support experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Some Travel
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous accounting/revenue cycle
• 2+ years working in a healthcare billing environment
• Banking Experience
• Team leadership experience
• General knowledge of commercial or consumer credit card business
