Job Description:
At Regions, the Quality/Process Improvement Analyst develops and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs that focus on quality improvement. The incumbent will solve routine problems and work with limited supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
• Conducts pre- and post- performance analysis that ultimately enhance and improve risk mitigation processes
• Measures and compares current processes with identified procedures and policies, monitors processes, and provides management summaries with recommendations for error prevention
• Promotes best practices and implements solutions
• May create project plans, timelines, critical paths, and milestones
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• High school diploma and three (3) years quality assurance and/or audit experience
Preferences
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience with project management software (ex: Microsoft Project)
Skills and Competencies
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into application/operational recommendation(s)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to managing multiple tasks and projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Position will support Bank Operations, Enterprise Operations Support (core systems), Marketing, Contact Center, and Client Services through process and system quality control testing.
• Working knowledge of Bank Operations, Core Systems, Marketing, and Consumer, Commercial, and Private Wealth Banking preferred.
