About the Job
This sales leadership role focused on enterprise level strategy development and sales direction for the Employer Services Pre-Employment Screening Channel sales team. Annual revenue responsibility is approximately $65M+. Success in leading this team requires extensive expertise in strategy development, while effectively coaching, motivating, and leading a channel sales team to achieve desired revenue goals. You will need to have a strong background in strategy development and execution. Success or demonstrated ability to build a solutions sales force in the pre-employment screening or recruiting industry; personal client relationship building skills at the senior executive level; strong skills in diagnosing, prescribing and attaining corrective actions from analysis of financial reporting; strong verbal and written communications skills, including formal as well as informal client and internal presentations. This position also demands the ability to prioritize and run multiple objectives and to lead a team every day.
Responsibilities:
• You will formulate and execute on strategic initiatives within the pre-employment channel. This includes working with senior leadership across the BU to identify key strategic issues and then framing, analyzing, presenting and recommending courses of action.
• You will need to provide strategic support for other functions, such as coordinating activities among different BU’s on key strategic matters; evaluating the strategic implications of M&A transactions; providing input into internal and external communications; providing input into the financial planning process; providing context about pre-employment screening industry trends and the company’s overall corporate strategy.
• Lead and motivate a team of channel sales professionals, using solid leadership skills to coach and propel the team to goal attainment.
• Monitor performance against goals via financial and sales operations reporting to ensure that objectives are met.
• You will have to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Use all EFX Workforce Solutions current and future product sets, sister BUs such as USIS, and COEs to continuously grow revenue via “sticky” solutions for client business applications in the pre-employment screening vertical.
• Partner as appropriate with industry leaders in targeted market segments to evolve new ways to diversify our revenue stream and create new avenues for growth.
• You will participate in EFX WS senior management meetings periodically to ensure a continued and clear understanding of trends, client needs, and perceptions within the pre-employment screening vertical.
Requirement
• 5+ years strategy development experience, at an enterprise level
• 5+ years managing a sales team
• 3+ years strategic solution selling experience
• Solid understanding of the solutions sales process to clients in all facets of client function (Negotiating with Backbone)
• Experience working with COE-based partners upon whom the you will depend for continuous, creative and effective market programs
• Experience leading and executing on internal growth initiatives
• Proven superior oral and written communication, organizational, time-management and social skills
• Superb presentation skills
• Superior organization skills and ability to “self-start,” with high energy and creative ability
• Full PC literacy, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• Travel Required, up to 75% of the time
