Job Description:
At Regions, the Programmer Analyst formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from programs.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Eight years business experience
• Experience with large technical environments and offers wide range of technical knowledge

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for implementation, and administration support for MuleSoft. The position will be the primary point of contact for environmental / resource issues that impact the MuleSoft solution. The administrator must possess a broad range of analytical/technical skills and experience with enterprise-class services. This individual will work with a team of technical architects and developers within Regions IT organization to ensure alignment with Regions IT services strategy.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the environment to ensure 24x7 availability.
• Ensure adequate monitoring is in place for solution to properly monitor, analyze and alert appropriate personnel proactively when availability concerns are recognized.
• Perform research, analyze technology, and apply best practices to design solutions.
• Utilize systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
• Studies and develops a comprehensive understanding of the MuleSoft Platform. Validate, test and implement new products/applications, modules/features within application, application releases and services.
• Provides guidance to others on API best practices. Respond to and resolve incidents escalated from operational teams and performance tuning requests utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Create and maintain documentation related to services, solutions and interfaces.
• Provide technical and advisory leadership as required to complete objective and be the primary point of contact for vendor escalations for products in their portfolio.
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Provide training and mentoring for other personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with the MuleSoft Platform
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Professional certification(s)
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments
• Prior systems administration/application configuration management experience
• High aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues
• Effective oral and written presentation skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances
• Good organizational skills
• Must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as necessary
• Must be able to exercise good judgment and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving
