The Network Administrator is responsible for design, implementation and administration of all network hardware and software. In addition, this position is responsible along with other IT support staff for protection of our Firm's technology assets through the use of network security devices and systems.
This position will support and optimize the existing Windows server environment and Virtual servers and will install, maintain, and troubleshoot file server hardware and software; including but not limited to operating systems, Active directory, DNS, DHCP, network applications, and application suites; upgrade/update file server hardware and software.
In addition, you will provide extensive technical support to our professional staff and participate in or lead IT projects. You will be required to stay current with new technologies through training and professional conferences and be responsible for other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• SQL Server support and SQL Reporting services
• Enterprise IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS Design
• Office 365 administration, Azure administration, and Single-Sign On with 3rd party vendors using SAML, ADFS, and Azure Active Directory authentication
• Installation of Enterprise Server Hardware
• Datacenter Server Backup and Recovery, including Schedules and Testing
• Enterprise Server (i.e., AD & Messaging) Virus Protection Design and Administration including SPAM control
• Administration of Windows 2003/2008 servers
• Formal education in computer science, 6 years of professional experience or combination of education, experience and certifications
• Current MCSE or ability to obtain preferred
• Definition of Enterprise Performance Measures
• Experience must include system analysis and support within a Windows environment
• VMware
• Active Directory Services
• WAN interfaces (e.g.., DS3, MPLS, Bonded circuits)
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• While MSCE is preferred, computer support background in a professional services environment is a plus
• Microsoft SharePoint Administration is also a plus
• Work occasional nights and weekends to perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades
