As the Product and Services Communications Manager, you will partner closely with the Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the leadership team to develop and execute the communications strategy for our technology products and service offerings within AIG. You will be responsible for optimizing communications across multiple channels, making sure our communications are aligned with our strategic IT goals. You will play a critical bridging role between the technology organization, which often uses non-user-friendly technical jargon, and the needs of the business, which desires communication that is simple and business orientated.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work directly with the CTO to prepare executive presentations for Board of Directors, Technology Leadership Team, Business Executives, and external stakeholder meetings
• Interface with the leadership team and communicate pertinent information across all functions, as well as identifying the overall needs of the CTO leadership
• Manage the communications for product launches and upgrade initiatives. Develop and create a wide range of communications materials including briefing materials for executives and more
• Own the CTO communications and engagement strategy and plan including but not limited to: senior leadership briefings and site-visits, strategic messaging for CTO-org and company-wide email communications, and global town halls
• Be able to simplify complex ideas or technical issues and make them human, relatable, and visual
• Interface with internal communications to align CTO communications with key company initiatives and commitments
• Participate in ad-hoc projects where communications expertise is required to crystalize messaging to executive and employee stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Must have experience creating mass communications and executive-level presentations
• Experience and confidence with regular Cxx engagement
• Strong relationship management skills. Team player. Proven ability to work with and influence a diversity of stakeholders at all levels internally and externally
• Strong end to end program/project management skills
• Can process information and learn quickly
• Exercises a high degree of maturity, discretion, and integrity, give this role frequently requires handling of sensitive and confidential information
• Highly proficient skills with Microsoft office (incl. Word, XL and Powerpoint), publication and user communication tools
• 3-5 years of working experience in the field of communications, public relations, product management or management consulting is preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
