The National Assurance Associate – Independence is responsible for supporting the National Assurance Independence team. This position also involves limited administrative support to the core assurance department.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferred
Experience:
• Two (2) or more years of industry related experience in a professional services firm, required
License/Certifications:
• Working toward CPA or similar qualification, preferred
Software:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, preferred
• Experience with various assurance applications and research tools, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and handle multiple projects/tasks with an attention to detail
• Ability to successfully multi-task, while working independently or in coordination with other professionals
• Capable of understanding and maintaining the confidentiality of all information
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate with diverse personalities in a tactful and mature manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to respond tactfully and professionally in high demand situations
