Position Summary
Our PaperSave professional services organization delivers document management and workflow solutions, based on our PaperSave product, to small and medium sized North American and international businesses and foundations. These solutions are delivered as stand-alone applications or are tightly integrated with commercially available ERP and financial systems.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be a staff consultant in our professional services organization based in our corporate headquarters in Coral Gables, FL. You will design, configure, and manage the implementations of our PaperSave document management and workflow product for our clients. You will, also, identify needs, make prospects and clients aware of our product and services capabilities, and help develop and deliver follow on business.
The qualified candidate has technical skills, is comfortable learning and using application technology, understands business, and is very effective interacting with clients.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the staff consultant is to manage the on time and within budget delivery of PaperSave implementations and enhancements. This includes all four dimensions – project, resource, technology, and account management – of successful engagements.
In addition to the management responsibilities, the staff consultant will design and configure the application to meet client requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Document current state processes
• Design future state processes
• Gather requirements
• Make moderately complex configurations
• Make basic customizations using JavaScript and SQL
• Train client stakeholders
• Document the client implementation and any learned best practices to be shared with colleagues
• Provide support to triage and resolve configuration and customization defects
Staff consultants will also be responsible for contributing to sales pursuits. This will involve research, writing proposals, statements of work, and work orders, and interacting with prospects and clients to support sales resources.
Qualifications and Requirements
The following are mandatory requirements of the successful staff consultant:
• BA or BS degree (business, information management, etc.) from an accredited college or university
• One plus years of application technology consulting experience
• One plus years of project management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent English
• Introductory (academic) knowledge of a development language, e.g., JavaScript, etc. or SQL
• One plus years of experience with Internet technologies and delivery models including cloud and SaaS
Optionally, experience with and knowledge of ERP and financial applications, e.g., Microsoft GP, SL, Intacct, etc. would be very helpful.
