A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…
• Build an industry-leading Inside Sales team to drive revenue growth
• Lead, Coach, and Encourage new sales representatives
• Develop processes, identify areas for improvement, and create accountability while ensuring business goals and employee engagement are a focal point
DETAILED JOB DUTIES
• Build an industry-leading Inside sales team to drive revenue growth
• Identify and implement telephone and operational systems to maximize productivity and drive distributed retail growth
• Lead, Coach and, Encourage new sales representatives to arm them with the knowledge and processes to be succesful
• Tracking and publishing new order volumes and closings generated by the Distributed Retail Sales Team. Individual results as well as team and regional totals, trends, pipeline characteristics such as spoilage and duration of each type – purchase/refi, valuations, title only.
• Tracking and publishing of Sales Activity for each individual representative – contacts to leads, to meetings, follow up meetings, to opportunities, and ultimately to wins. Be able to equate how different types of sales activity equates to a wins (orders placed)
• In conjunction with Sales Leadership, coordinate the agenda and presenters in support of Dist. Retail Sales Meetings.
• Research and manage lead sources – (a) identifies, locate, and justify the purchase (if necessary) of lead sources such as Loan Officers: Retail, Brokers, Correspondents, Realtors, Real-estate Attorneys. (b) Manage those lists to ensure improved contact quality is maintained, lists are worked by sales representatives.
• Oversee and Coordinate the onboarding of new Dist. Retail Sales Reps – ensure advance activities are completed prior and coordination of the onetime onboarding event
• Be able to train sales representatives on how to:
• Research opportunities within their market, identify different types of lead sources
• Use our CRM to correctly log activities, leads, opportunities and wins
• Use CRM add on to SFDC in support of “contact campaigns” where Service Link or the individual sales representative can send potential and current customers correspondence in a variety of areas.
• Work with marketing relative to developing and expanding our Social Media strategy – Facebook, Linked’in, Twitter, etc.
• Schedule and Conduct a proper conference call
• Use applications such as business card capture and Titlepro247
• Connect with operations and legal when a new opportunity arises in order to book the deal more quickly.
• Generally utilize technology in support of their business development, absolute usage and current team and industry best practices
• Manage project plans within Visio:
• Maintain the plan – deliverables, dependencies, due dates, status, comments
• Host periodic calls with task owners
• Follow up on tasks with task owners – determine schedule, roadblocks, issues
• Participate in Projects as the Dist. Retail Representative. On our teams behalf – represent us, own deliverables, bring questionable matters back for decisions, generally keep the leadership apprised of anything critical.
• Manage the artifacts in support of this channel of business within SFDC.
• Acquire and maintain the artifacts and ensure completeness, accuracy and final version are stored
• Be familiar with those artifacts in order to guide sales and operations team members to materials
• Organize those artifacts so they can be easily identified and acquired by the team members
• Connection Link – be familiar with the entire SL organization in order to connect Distributed Retail Sale resources to those within the business who own functions – Valuations, Title, Closing, Notary Network, Post Closing, Flood, Loan Servicing, Technology
• All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal and excellent written communication skills; strong attention to detail
• Knowledge or experience in mortgage banking, title and residential closings a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Proven ability to develop working relationships at multiple levels of the organization
• Collaborative team player with the ability to build consensus
• Ability to analyze complex concepts and solve problems across domains (business, functional, technical, and operational)
• A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project) or other documentation tools. Knowledge of basic SQL driven queries a plus.
• Ability to handle change and ambiguity
• Effective in a fast paced environment
• Self directed/motivated
• Ability to travel a minimum of 5% throughout the calendar year
• Ability to work at a focused and continuous pace.
