We are seeking an Underwriting professional for an exciting opportunity within the Financial Lines business segment. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for:
• Underwriting complex new and renewal E&O, technology, media & cyber liability
• Reviewing new business submissions, evaluating risk performance, and assisting with attaining profitability objective within delegated authority and in accordance with established underwriting guidelines
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Visiting agents/producers to further develop relationships & grow the book of business
• Other responsibilities as required

What We Are Looking For:
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant underwriting experience, within Professional Liability and/or Cyber preferred
• Strong marketing and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of financial and insurance concepts
• Self-starter with ability to work in a face paced team oriented environment
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Existing relationships within the brokerage community preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred (Finance or Risk Management major a plus)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
