This role is an opportunity to join the Asset Management Board Finance Team supporting Fidelity Personal, Workplace, and Institutional Services (PWIS). The Board Finance Group provides business and financial reporting and analytics to the Fidelity Mutual Fund Board of Trustees on behalf of the PWIS business. The work supports the annual contract approval process for the 400+ mutual funds managed by Fidelity Investments.
The Team
Fidelity Personal, Workplace and Institutional Services is a division of Fidelity Investments representing Fidelity's retail brokerage, defined contribution and defined benefits, retirement services, health and welfare, intermediary, and institutional businesses.
You will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be primarily responsible for supporting the Fidelity Mutual Funds Board(s) of Trustees on behalf of the PWIS businesses. This work includes Fund Profitability for PWIS as well as 12b-1 Reporting, Transfer Agent (TA) contract support, revenue modeling and other ad-hoc analyses. Fund Profitability is an activity-based costing model that is used to calculate the profitability of our different investment products. The results of this work are shared with the Fidelity Board of Trustees and are used to help set the funds’ fees. In this function, you will work with Finance partners across the firm and work with outside auditors to validate the results and perform analyses on trends and business changes. The group also functions as an area of subject matter expertise on fund revenue and partners with other finance areas on analyses used in business decision support.
The Expertise You Have
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Deep understanding of financial/accounting principles

• Your proven ability to work across organizations and develop positive working relationships with peers, senior management and business partners
• Your expertise with financial systems (Essbase, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to manipulate large data sets / database experience
• Your ability to work under pressure and deliver in tight deadlines
The Value You Deliver
• Maintaining and improving complex financial models including driver collection, methodology improvements, and interpersonal changes
• Producing monthly, quarterly and annual profitability and 12b-1 reporting
• Collecting and analyzing key business drivers needed to support decision-making and pricing strategy
• Providing TA contract support and metric approval
• Presenting financial results to Finance leadership team
