ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervises daily operation of a client specific short sale team, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures and all applicable government, investor and client regulations.
• Supervises a team to include the following roles: Team Lead, Processor, Specialist and Closer
• Develop, implement and distribute daily workflow, operational and exception reporting
• Reviews short sale transactions for approval or denial to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality within department.
• Identifies trends and develops process improvements and system enhancements to improve department’s effectiveness.
• Receives and resolves customer complaints
• Performs duties related to staff development such as performance evaluations, disciplining employees, and training.
• Compiles data and generates ad-hoc reporting for Manager.
• Provides monthly summary to Manager on departmental performance objectives.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Associates Degree or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions.
• Three years experience in one or more the following areas: Mortgage Banking, Collections, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure processes.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, managing a team in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Knowledge of mortgage loan workout options (i.e. loan modifications, short sale, deed in lieu and foreclosure).
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
• Experience with Ensemble Pro dialer administration.
• Experience utilizing DataViews for reporting.
• Knowledgeable in scheduling and volume forecasting.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency.
• Solves problems with a sense of urgency by recognizing opportunities, understanding risks and acting quickly to overcome obstacles and reach a solution.
• Ability to resolve conflict appropriately and effectively resolve problems.
• Knowledgeable in scheduling and volume forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player with a high level of professionalism and initiative.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently to meet business needs.
