Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Strategist will manage content for Principal's online properties, including designing layouts with UX designers and maintaining existing content. Provide input on the digital strategy and goals for the online properties, mobile apps, e-mail marketing, social media programs and digital marketing campaigns. Responsibilities will also include interaction with IT, product marketing, and compliance groups to create content that supports the overall digital strategy.
Additional responsibilities may include:
• Design, write, edit, test, and publish moderately complex websites and online systems. Build relationships with internal business partners by consulting, identifying needs, and recommending solutions for information architecture.
• Maintain content of assigned websites and digital properties including adhering to site information architecture, SEO best practices, editorial standards and design guidelines.
• Ensure content and information architecture support the business unit and company goals and are consistent with the overall digital strategy.
• Review and evaluate project assignments for quality and accuracy, and ensure they support our corporate branding goals and digital strategies.
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
Qualifications:
Skills required:
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or business-related field or equivalent of 8 years’ experience.
• 4+ years related experience required in a marketing or digital marketing capacity.
• HTML and CSS experience is required.
• Experience working with Salesforce or other marketing automation platforms is preferred.
Successful candidates will have the following:
• Must have excellent time management, listening, oral and written communication skills, as well as solid decision-making skills.
• Strong planning/ organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills required.
• Advanced computer skills, as well as interactive design (ex. presentation frameworks, CSS, HTML5), usability and accessibility required. Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) a plus.
• Basic knowledge of company products required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
