Job Description
Position Description
Optimize vehicle sale proceeds through identification of strategic opportunities, conducting experimental designs and via advanced analytic. Work closely with business leaders to analyze emerging trends and drive business decision.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead a team of analysts and partners with internal analytics groups to support vehicle pricing initiatives and vehicle value optimization
• Studies current market conditions, synthesizes risks and reports findings to Senior Management
• Manages day to day pricing processes and strategies that deliver vehicle prices to various market places
• Identifies opportunities and successfully develops and executes actionable strategies
• Implements and evangelizes best practices cross functionally
• Leads efforts on evaluating and testing auction sales performance
• Work cross functionally to implement findings
Qualifications
• Master's degree in quantitative or technical field required (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, etc).
• 2-5 years managing and leading teams
• 5+ years in an analytics role in Auto Lending, Risk Management and/or Credit Strategy Development
• Comfortable with analyzing complex problems and creating innovative strategy
• Able apply advanced mathematics to assesses nontraditional business questions
• Strong skill and experience in advanced analytics and statistical modeling / analysis
• Must have SAS strong experience /
◦ Experience with structured and unstructured data
◦ Fluent in SAS Macro language
• Python and R experience a plus
• Familiar with Hadoop and/or AWS
• Proficient working with databases: Oracle, SQL server, RDS, Impala, Teradata, etc
• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling or artificial intelligence/machine learning algorithms
