The Senior Financial Analyst is a key participant in the Financial Planning and Analysis processes and supporting the Operations Leadership Team. We are looking for a team member with flexibility with the opportunity to grow in an exciting and fun team atmosphere.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Operations reporting and analysis
• Store budgeting and target setting
• Supports implementation of new reporting platforms
• Ad-hoc analysis
Critical and Essential Tasks
• Develop and prepare ad hoc analysis to drive understanding of operational metrics and financial results
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and month-end financial reports; provide variance analysis, research financial irregularities, and use the analysis to develop recommendations to improve financial results.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets
• Assist with implementation of Business Intelligence tools to drive stronger insight into the business and store performance. Once deployed, leverage new tools to drive business results.
• Assist with annual and strategic long-term planning
• Assist with special projects and other ad hoc analysis as needed
• Look for ways to improve process efficiency
Requirements
Experience
• 2-5 years of relevant financial analysis experience
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent from a four-year college or university.

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance principles with quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and statements
• Experience and knowledge in operational financial analysis; including labor analytics
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Exceptional time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Oracle Analytics/PeopleSoft/Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau, or other major planning and reporting systems
• Experience and knowledge in maintaining multi-store budgets
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL and VBA a plus
