Sr. Facilities Manager

We seek a Sr. Facilities Manager with strategic and project related experience to lead our facility in Alpharetta, Ga.
As our Facilities Manager you will:
• Direct, plan, organize and control all aspects of the operation of a highly effective, reliable, and efficient office building, associated structures, and support service, ensuring the facilities are well-maintained
• Provide a, safe, clean, and economical work environment for Fiserv associates
• Establish and implement short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate program effectiveness; implement strategies for continuous improvement of facility systems, energy conservation and sustainability
• Manage projects including construction, relocation, and decommissioning of facilities
• Act as Real Estate Partner to Business Unit leadership
• Anticipate service needs and respond proactively
• Display high level leadership skills
• Interact with executives, associates, and visitors to determine facilities and service requirements, recommend appropriate fulfillment solutions and report service level performance as appropriate
• Provide effective and efficient space resource management and develop optimal space utilization plans; Plan for and coordinate ongoing facility moves, adds and change activity (churn), including workstation design layouts, set-ups, and reconfiguration projects
• Handle all maintenance, construction, and building systems
• Develop project scopes, budgets and schedules and secure necessary executive approvals. Assemble the necessary team resources, track progress, and provide written documentation of ongoing project status through to completion.
• Mobilize, plan, and lead 24X7 responses to emergency events. Lead facility disaster backup and recovery planning, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Life Safety training and drills. Assure compliance with local health and safety regulations and all other applicable Federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain effective and productive vendor relationships. Stays abreast of emerging trends in modern office layout and techniques (including work from home strategies) and manage the implementation of the Fiserv Standards Program.
• Negotiate contracts for facilities products and services, issue requests for proposals (RFPs) as necessary and select vendors in cooperation and accordance with Enterprise Sourcing policy. Maintains the database of approved vendors for the Facilities.
• Lead the Facilities professional, operational and engineering team and oversees the building operations, maintenance, work flow systems, housekeeping, grounds, utilities systems.
• Develop and manage annual site Expense and Capital Budgets, track and approve expenses, identify and propose capital improvement recommendations and develop cost estimates for decision makers. Obtain necessary quotes for proposals and then, upon approval, lead all capital improvement implementation projects.
• Travel up to 25%
Are you the leader we seek? Do you:
• Have 6+ years of facilities management experience/training
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and exhibit initiative and drive for results
• Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other management systems
• Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents and financial data and demonstrate expertise in architectural, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Have knowledge of critical environments that support server rooms or computer operations this includes; management and coordination of all building repair and maintenance activities (including all scheduled preventive maintenance for critical infrastructure like Generators, UPS and supplemental A/C units); manages in-house and outsourced maintenance routines and testing regimes.
It would be fantastic if you also have:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Facilities Management preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD, ServiceNow, SAP, Archibus, software applications
• Certifications: OSHA, RPA, FMA, CFM
