Job Title Product Management, Intern
Position Purpose:
The Card Services Accel Network Data Analytics team is focused on business analytics in the “Big Data” environment of debit transaction processing. Data modeling is used for forecasting and strategic decision making as well as reporting to internal and external clients. The intern will gain expertise with multiple data platforms, data modeling, analytics tools as well as data visualization tools and presentation techniques.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Running and writing queries, analyzing data and generating reporting
• Performing analyses to support key business initiatives
• Reviewing and interpreting transactional data results
• Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on daily and monthly key metrics
• Maintaining daily and monthly reporting dashboards
• Conducting competitive analyses, tracking industry volume shifts and performing other ad-hoc analyses as required
Required Qualifications:
Education:
• Working toward a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Biology or other data focused field of study.
Skills:
The candidate will have completed some coursework in the following areas:
• Computer programming
• Data Analytics
• Database Architecture
• Business writing or public speaking
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Student who has completed their sophomore or junior year
