The Private Client Infrastructure Group is a team of Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Operational Risk and Associate Portfolio Managers who support Bernstein Wealth Management, the Private Client business at AllianceBernstein. The team provides tools to Clients, Financial Advisors, Associates, Office Managers, the Wealth Strategies Group, Marketing, Portfolio Management (PMG) and Business Management. The team enables the Private Client business throughout the entire client lifecycle to provide differentiated and value-added services to high net-worth clients, including investment planning and advice, portfolio implementation, asset allocation and client servicing. The group is also responsible for the digital client experience of our clients and prospective clients.
Responsibilities
IT Job Description:
We are seeking a Nashville based Head of our PMO to join our Private Wealth Team in Private Client.
The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Establishes, communicates, leads the strategic direction of the Project Management Office, responsible for executing project management across the private wealth organization – directly and through the team
• Manages a team of business analysts, project managers and quality assurance, championing success to meet client outcomes in a fast paced, quickly evolving technology landscape.
• Sustain and continuously improve project standards, processes, methodologies, tools and reporting processes.
• Actively participate as a member of the Private Wealth Infrastructure leadership team to develop and refine strategic initiatives, including new opportunity identification and assume full ownership for managing/reporting progress
• Take a broad overview of the business, industry and digital landscape to identify focus and what capabilities are required.
• Utilize Agile skills to successfully design, execute and manage projects, ensuring solutions meet the needs of the business and support the client experience
• Vendor Procurement
• Actively participate in recruiting and onboarding efforts of PWM infrastructure in company headquarters
Qualifications
Job Qualifications
• 10+ years at senior manager level in the management of a centralized project management office. Knowledge in wealth management and digital preferred
• Superior project management and analysis skills, experience working in an agile environment
• Demonstrated leadership in managing people, setting strategy and execution
• Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal/written/presentation skills
• Proven ability to work across departments, influence others at senior levels and build strong relationships
• Client focused with strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience with JIRA, Microsoft Office including Project
