Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:
• Responsible to lead, organize and manage the corporate strategies and initiatives, enterprise and product group objectives, and affiliate and business unit agendas to drive the best coordination and prioritization of digital marketing activities.
• Represents digital product and experience teams as we launch new internally and externally facing solutions that require organizational change management, communications, training and marketing support.
• Provides a single point of coordination for all enterprise digital marketing initiatives.
• Integrates business strategy with the enterprise technology strategy and coordinates marketing technology delivery with the Business Technology Division.
• Works with affiliate marketing directors and executives to create a digital marketing center of excellence (CoE) to develop and support competitive digital marketing capabilities for the enterprise.
• Assesses strengths, weaknesses and opportunities in our marketing technologies.
• Leads on emerging digital marketing technologies and works with Business Technology, Enterprise Data & Analytics on delivering and maintaining those technology assets.
• Builds and maintains external relationships with industry bodies, vendors and technology analysts.
• Incubates new enterprise digital marketing capabilities.
• Reports on digital marketing KPIs and metrics.
• In partnership with Enterprise Data & Analytics and the affiliate marketing groups, identifies insights that improve the adoption and usage of our banking and digital products as well as increase customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Brainstorms with affiliate marketing teams and leverages technologies and methods (e.g., machine learning and AI) to discover contextual and personalized insights beneficial to our customers.
• Works with the Digital Banking and Digital Experience teams to create new touchpoints within our digital solutions to deliver the insights in a personalized way as preferred by the customer.
• Develops, recommends, establishes and implements business plans, goals, operational procedures, and systems which support the divisions long-term, strategic objectives.
• Evaluates and measures the divisions performance against these goals and objectives.
• Analyzes and organizes area operations and procedures.
• Prepares area budget and monthly financial reports.
• Responsible for hiring, training and managing a staff.
• Prepares employee performance evaluations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
• Expert knowledge digital marketing methods and technologies.
• Deep understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how people/companies are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies).
• Broad and detailed understanding of corporate strategies and initiatives, enterprise and product group objectives.
• Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and consulting skills.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively drive people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
• Ability to collaborate and work with a variety of management and department staff.
• Ability to think strategically and plan long term goals.
• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
• Excellent management and project management skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor staff.
Education & Experience:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, administration or a related field
• 10+ years of experience digital marketing, banking or a combination of both, innovating business models and developing new channels, business models or digital transformation.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
• 5+ years of experience in information-intensive industries or digitally advanced enterprises preferred.
• Management experience required.
• A combination of educations and experience may meet job requirements.
