The selected employee will be Responsible for achieving educational goals set with plan sponsors. This position provides on-site education to contribute to the success of the plan and the participants’ retirement readiness, delivers enrollment meetings, conducts reviews with participants, and provides ongoing service to retirement plan participants.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify resource materials for new and current participant educational and enrollment meetings.
• Develop strong relationships with key contacts and employees.
• Schedule and coordinate participant meetings.
• Present current plan information at participant enrollment meetings and conduct quarterly update meetings as scheduled.
• Track and maintain results of those meetings, including attendance, allocation changes, and participating changes; prepare and provide monthly report results to lead advisor for fiduciary reviews.
• Develop and design new and fresh materials for seminars, education, and enrollment for plan participants at request of plan sponsor.
• Work with CFN Compliance Department to gain approval for all materials.
• Maintain record and fil of compliance approved materials.
• Work one-on-one with participants to answer questions regarding plan during enrollment process; if research or service is necessary, assign action items to appropriate staff and oversee implementation, documentation, and communication with the participant/client.
• Be the first point of contact for the firm when providing personalized investment advice/guidance to plan participants.
• Understand plan regulatory requirements, and provide guidance to participants and benefits manager.
• Continue education in advanced markets/financial literacy through industry, company, broker-dealer, and business resources.
• Attend select meetings with the advisor to draft the Fiduciary Plan Review Executive Summary.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong understanding of retirement plan rules, design, and compliance requirements.
• FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations required but FINRA Series 7 and 66 preferred.
• AIF or CRPS designation or willingness to obtain is required.
• Strong understanding of investment products.
• Variable, life and health insurance license as necessary
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Comfort with public speaking and presenting to large groups
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in an easily understood manner.
• Personable and enthusiastic with a passion for education.
