The SBA Credit Servicing Specialist responsibilities include:
• Performing all post-closing servicing functions for SBA 7a loans.
• Supports the ongoing credit servicing administration for a portfolio of 7a loans and maintains the borrower relationship to sustain a positive customer experience.
• Managing servicing action requests, resolving documentation exception issues, monitoring past due credits in a timely manner, ensuring credit files are complete and BOSS is properly documented for annual reviews.
• Process the daily work flow to assure quality, timeliness and compliance with bank, SBA, regulatory and investor guidelines. This includes loan boarding, third party payments and loan disbursements.
• Performing second level quality reviews and preparing documentation recommendations in order to correct errors that could potentially put the Bank at risk for losing a guaranty or obtaining penalties.
• Provide general guidance to account officers and associates while providing quality service to both internal and external customers.
Note: This position can be filled as a level I or II depending on the selected candidate's skills and work experience.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial loans, participation loans, Mortgage loans and/or SBA loan processing and servicing.
Additional Requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal.
• Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
• Considerable knowledge of Commercial loans and participation loans.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows and scanning.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management.
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
• Capacity to research and solve problems.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous SBA Loan servicing experience.
• Experience with PCFS SBA Loan Manager system.
• Experience using BOSS.
• Knowledge of SBA SOP’s highly desired.
• Experience viewing and updating E-tran.
• Basic accounting and financial analysis.
• Associate degree.
