Capital Group Office Services’ mission is to provide business driven support to our site that is cost-effective, innovative, flexible, and responsive to change.
As an Office Services Coordinator based in New York, you will be an integral piece to the overall mission, effectively executing day-to-day tasks and acting as a vital operational link to site management. Associates in Office Services are stewards of Capital Group’s physical environment and providers of premium support services to Capital’s business units, core values, and culture.
Responsibilities:
• Cultivation and maintenance of internal and external client relationships, in support of upcoming site relocation
• Client support for investment professionals, investment assistants, and high profile visitors
• General operations and site logistics (including reception desk duties, workplace initiatives, visitor management, budget management, safety & security, and partnerships with other support teams)
• Directs and manages vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring agreed service levels are met
• Proactively identifies, analyzes, and makes decisions to resolve business issues, and escalates issues as appropriate to site management
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience working in a professional environment; hospitality and/or operations background preferred, with move experience a plus
• Ability to strategize and prioritize while considering multiple business factors
• Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity, humility, and team orientation
• Strong organization, project management, and multi-tasking skills
• Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
