THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Case Manager provides management and coordination of all aspects of pending cases through policy delivery. Facilitates the selection, application, approval and issuance of insurance policies. Serves as the primary liaison with carriers, medical institutions, clients and their advisers, to facilitate and coordinate all aspects of the medical and financial risk underwriting process through policy delivery to provide effective acquisition and advocacy services to clients, negotiates with carriers, processes billings, reviews policies and enters data, distributes periodic status reports to producer(s).
• Coordinate with producers and clients to obtain appropriate documentation
• Obtain Attending Physician Statements and additional underwriting requirements
• Schedule medical examinations including preparation of exam facilities
• Arrange inspection reports
• Process all new business insurance applications including completion and submission of applications and all
• required forms
• Maintain case status updates at all times
• Review policy issued for accuracy and deliver to producer
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
You are perfect for this opportunity if you
• hold a high school diploma/GED (college degree strongly preferred)
• have at least 2 years of related life insurance experience
• have the confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
• proven attention to detail
• have the ability to professionally manage sensitive and confidential information
• demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• are computer literate - Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
