The Marketing Insights and Analytics Group reports into the North America Distribution Analytics & Insights organization as a function driving business value through the use of internal and external data, predictive analytics and data science. The group focuses on providing cutting edge business intelligence and advanced analytic solutions to support the marketing efforts within North America Distribution. The team is looking for a highly motivated individual. The Senior Marketing Insights Analyst must possess a passion for analytics. This individual will act as a key advocate for the benefits data and analytics can drive throughout the organization. The person must be comfortable working with data, collaborating with partners, conducting analyses, designing experiments, preparing reports, and communicating insights. This individual will be leveraging a broad spectrum of marketing, media, and sales data to develop reporting and analysis to support decision making for Capital Idea and Capital Group Brand.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage data to solve strategic, tactical, structured, and unstructured business problems
• Design effective and impactful reports and visualizations that show marketing performance and actionable insights
• Provide ad hoc analysis to guide content optimization and establish campaign best practices
• Perform insightful analysis by integrating internal and external data sources to predict customer behaviors for different programs
• Independently defining and conducting research and analysis in order to create data-driven insights about customer behavior from all aspects of the business including but not limited web data, historical behavioral data, demographic data, and macroeconomic indicators
• Participate as a thought leader or lead large strategic project from scope definition to execution and implementation
• Interpret and communicate analytic results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and senior managers
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in Business / Computer Science / Analytics / Econometrics required, master degree preferred.
• 5 years in analytics role, experience working with transaction level, email and customer data strongly preferred
• Ability to manage internal and external partners
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and its related products
• Strong understanding of marketing, user experience, and customer segmentation principles, best practices and analytical approaches
• Ability to apply marketing analytics results to the practical considerations of day-to-day marketing and business challenges
• Strong knowledge in online and offline experiments, including A/B testing and multivariate experiments
• Familiar with recommendation system and algorithms
• Ability to analyze, interpret and develop insights from complex data structure
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, influence, and negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers.
