In the Sales Operations Sr Specialist role, you will act as a business partner to a North American Distribution (NAD) client segment, guiding the development and execution of objectives and strategies, ensuring projects and initiatives are aligned to and achieving business goals. You will provide operational support to the client segment leadership team, and serve as a resource and subject matter expert to associates within and outside of the client segment.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and executes strategic and tactical initiatives and projects to support the client segment business plans
• Participates in the development and execution of key business capabilities and processes, including business planning, sales and marketing planning, and budgeting
• Defines and manages the execution of key sales initiative plans to support strategic sales priorities with key firms
• Provides recommendations to senior management to inform business strategy and identify gaps or improvement opportunities
• Drives effectiveness and efficiencies for our salesforce by helping to implement segmentation strategies, participating in the development of coverage and territory models, and defining sales tools and capabilities
• Identifies business reporting needs and works with reporting teams / systems to drive deliberate assessment of goals and metrics through ad hoc reporting, dashboard development and Salesforce.com tracking
• Implements sales operations capabilities and best practices across the Sales Operations team; ensures alignment across broad initiatives and client specific initiatives
• Leads and manages projects with broad business impact, often serving as the Sales Operations and client segment internal representative for NAD priorities and initiatives
• Effectively works across NAD internal teams, building relationships and partnerships
• Provides department support and serves as a knowledge resource to the business area
• Acts as a resource and mentor to other Sales Operations Specialists and team members
Skills/qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
• At least 5 years of financial services industry experience preferred
• Strong project management capabilities; proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite of tools
• Exceptional organization skills; strong attention to detail
• Experienced sole contributor
• Strong capability to identify issues and recommend solutions
• Sound judgment in resolving matters of moderate complexity
• Ability to influence groups and/or more senior associates
• Possesses intellectual curiosity and robust analytical skills
• Collaborates and works effectively as part of a team
• Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders
