Responsibilities
Afirm is looking for a full time Recruiter to join our team. Afirm is one of the largest providers of reporting services to the insurance industry, operating in the United States and Canada, and we continue to grow! Start Date: Immediately
THE OPPORTUNITY:
• Works closely with various department and hiring managers to develop areas of need, requisition details, provide regular communication on candidate status, tracking and reporting and other tasks/information as needed
• Provides full cycle recruiting support inclusive of sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates via Skype and by phone, facilitating all pre-employment assessments, coordination of interviews with the hiring managers and senior leadership, offer and contract extension, and onboarding of new hires
• Follow up with all managers including status updates, reporting, and other information as needed
• Conduct background/employment verifications
• Negotiate and manage the offer process (reviewed, extended, and followed through with offers to the onboarding process)
• Maintain EEOC compliance through ATS system with regards to requisitions, onboarding, offer letters, background checks, and any other applicable sources
• Maintain relationships with outside recruiting sources/services including contract negotiations offering contract and direct employees for the placement of specialized candidates
• Other recruiting projects may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
• Creativity and tenacity, with a proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an ever changing, high pressure, deadline driven environment
• Ability to relate and interface well with all levels of the organization
• Strong technical ability with web-based applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Previous Recruiting experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual!
