Oversees the strategy and delivery of Operational communications and training initiatives related to regulations, policies and technical specifications of network infrastructure while supporting a risk aware culture and heavy focus on the overall customer experience.
Leads and oversees a team of business analysts and user-acceptance testers, and is accountable for the readiness of the business to accept application changes when they are delivered to production. Facilitates operational readiness and strategic alignment with project priorities, and develops team members through coaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities
• Directs administrative activities related to making products or providing services.
• Ensures systems changes are aligned with strategic direction and are operationally sound.
• Establishes necessary controls and monitors project delivery, including status reporting and analysis tasks.
• Effectively manage cross-functional projects independently with little or no supervision.
• Directs and coordinates activities of the department by monitoring the status of projects and provides guidance to team members to achieve goals.
• Oversees and drives strategy, needs analysis for internal and external communications and training
• Confirms stakeholder alignment and execution of procedures within SLAs
• Drives effectiveness and efficiencies to procedures
• Compliance to all risk, third party and assessment policies and actively participates and timely responses on all audit requests
• Maintains the approval and publication of Program Documents to seven portals
• Maintains email distributions
• Manage team Travel & Entertainment budget
Skills:
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Operations, or Testing
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, we’d also look for:
• 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Operations, or Testing
• Familiarity with Agile development as well as ADDIE And SAM methodologies
• A proven leader who embodies the Discover values, leadership behaviors and leads with compassion, professionalism and ambiguity
