Liberty Mutual Insurance is looking for an enthusiastic, organized individual to support our Legal Staff.
Responsibilities:
In this Insurance Assistant role you will:
• Fields telephone calls for the office and is the first point of contact for the office.
• Greeting of visitors to the office and directing them where to go upon entry.
• Correct direction of phone calls to people in the office.
• Opens new files referred to our office for handling in the Case Management System
• Process electronic and paper mail by scanning and dropping into the Case Management system.
• Performs other related support duties as requested such as photocopying, faxing and scanning various documents.
• Provides back-up support in the absence of others.
Qualifications:
• Dependability, attention to details, and ability to follow/interpret procedures
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and software applications (such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required to help resolve routine problems, answer general questions, and know when to escalate more complex issues
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of customer service and/or administrative experience
