Job Summary
Crowe is hiring for a Scrum Master within our Applied Technology practice that has demonstrated capability to oversee and manage custom software development products and/or lead multiple project teams at a time. The candidate will own helping their Audit technology team(s) meet their commitments each sprint by monitoring daily progress and facilitating conversations and actions necessary to resolve issues. This role will also involve working across many stakeholders including developers, quality assurance, product owners, and product managers.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of three years of experience in a management role.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects/products.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing software applications.
• Minimum of 1 year working as a Scrum Master.
• Agile training classes, certifications, or direct experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage sprint plan and roadmap
◦ Working with product managers / owner to identifying a product road map
◦ Managing the execution of the sprint plan and roadmap for a software product application
◦ Ensures team is working on the highest value work
◦ Coordinating scrum team resource allocations, building scrum knowledge across the scrum teams, and fostering a self-managing team environment
◦ Communication of resource requirements and duration for overall planning
◦ Providing strategic solutions for impediments/issues. (ie: Resources, Schedule, Quality)
• Support project activity, cost, risk and issues reporting
◦ Effectively and continuously communicate to product managers, business stakeholders, or clients on status in relation to projects or project tasks
◦ Monitor Visual Studio project site and utilization, and report as needed on project progress, resource allocations, bug and bug remediation, sprint velocity, etc.
◦ Support Executive Reporting as needed, especially regarding project progress, schedule, resource allocation and utilization, cost tracking and scope and issues management
◦ Anticipation and prevention as needed regarding project risk management as well as identification and escalation of project issues management
◦ Develop and track resource needs, utilization and allocations to identify and escalate as needed any resource shortages in need of management intervention
• Work across stakeholders
◦ Facilitate the analysis, requirements, and estimation of user stories, features, and epics
◦ Assist in facilitating design requirements meetings with product managers and business members in coordination with the product owner and business analysts
◦ Demonstrating and facilitating effective communication with team members and business members
◦ Work with team members to ensure they are following processes and standards
• Develop product acumen
◦ Develop one’s product knowledge in order to converse with terminology that has meaning to the subject matter experts, development team and users of the system
◦ Participate in product demonstrations with product champions and business members
• Advocate for quality
◦ Member of “Crisis Management” team to handle issue resolution, risk mitigation, roadmap / delivery updates specific to applicable areas, and resource needs
◦ Continuously seeks and proposes process improvement for the development process
◦ Look for opportunities to improve or implement processes to improve productivity, quality, and performance for the team
◦ Providing individual coaching to improve our Scrum efforts as well as advocating the scrum process
◦ Acts as the liaison for the team to ensure no outside work impacts delivery
