General Summary
Under the overall direction of the Director, Commercial Operations, work within the Commercial Operations team to assist with data gathering and analysis, tracking and reporting as well as performing administrative duties for the department. The Business Development Coordinator will work closely with the business analysts, Proposal Manager and Director, Commercial Operations to play a key role within the Strategy team in supporting activities related to proposals, pricing and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Qualifications
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (PDR)
Business Analyst Duties
• Serve as part of the data analysis team by working closely with the Market Sector, Market Intelligence and Pricing analysts and using the tools developed to assist with data requests.
• Assist the Proposal Manager with proposal development, editing and tracking.
• Through issuance of a weekly/monthly/quarterly report, ensures that pertinent Senior Management is kept informed of activities/trends in the Marine, Government, and Offshore industry (global perspective) and possible ABS implications.
• Assists in the tracking of business performance metrics.
• Assists in the coordination of various corporate planning activities.
• Supplies industry and customer related information strategy/data support (global emphasis) to assist the regional business development activities.
• Provides a timely value added response to information requests in support of business development activities.
• Coordinates training and support for use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for the business development team.
• Coordinates with Marketing for lead generation, vetting and entry into CRM.
• Assists with preparation of effective presentations for senior management to be delivered both internally and externally.
• Works with Director, Commercial Operations to roll out new service offerings to organization.
Administrative Duties
• Process documents requiring authorization by EVP and VPs within Business Development.
• Coordinate Commercial Operations meetings (on premises and webinars) for larger groups.
• Coordinate Safety meetings and overall mandatory training tracking and progress.
• Responsible for maintaining and managing Commercial Operations business management systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
• Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• The ability to quickly identify and solve problems while working under deadlines.
• Experience with administrative functions and responsibilities.
• The ability to work well with various professional levels.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Sharepoint.
• Some knowledge of Power BI is preferred.

Working Conditions
Work will normally be performed in an air-conditioned office environment and will generally be non-manual in nature. Occasional travel will be required to perform Principal Duties and Responsibilities.
Reporting Relationships
The incumbent will report to the Senior Business Analyst and collaborates with other Commercial Operations team members and Business Development on related projects and other matters of mutual concern and interest.
