POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Director for Private Infrastructure asset management your role will be focused on the ongoing management of our direct and joint venture infrastructure assets in transportation, power, transmission, utility, social infrastructure, and conventional and renewable energy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Oversee management teams of assets and sit on investor boards. Attend quarterly board meetings and portfolio management reviews with the portfolio managers and external clients. Engage in a variety of governance topics including financing and other capital raising discussions, company staffing needs including compensation, legal and compliance matters
• Assist in the due diligence process for investments and co-investments. Oversee the reporting of investment performance analysis, acquisition modeling and analyze deal structures
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for investments to external clients, internal business partners including portfolio managers, legal, and compliance
• Work with internal business partners to ensure all legal, compliance, and accounting requirements are being met
• Prepare internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment and portfolio recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents and external clients
• Closely monitor and manage the performance of portfolio investments, including regular communication with management teams, investment partners, and financial sponsors
• Maintain investment performance databases and files
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
• A combination of eight or more years of experience in accounting, business development and asset management of commercial real estate or other infrastructure assets
Desired Experience
• Proven ability to drive multiple portfolio investment decisions in a time critical, asset oriented environment
• Knowledgeable in current trends, success factors, participants and structure terms across the infrastructure and energy investment markets
• Demonstrated experience developing and using financial statement analysis and financial modeling
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work hard in a team-oriented, performance based environment
• A self-starter that requires limited oversight in the completion of individual projects
