Job Title Senior Quality Assurance Analyst - DataSafe
What does a great Senior DataSafe Quality Assurance Analyst do?
Do you love assisting in the successful completion of software projects? As a Sr. DataSafe QA Analyst, you will execute software quality activities throughout the software development life cycle. You’re actively involved in test plan development, test case development, test case execution, test results analysis, and defect reporting. We develop and support test automation development (performance or regression), and in addition, our team is involved in reviews of requirements, test cases, and other project artifacts. You will have the following responsibilities:
• Work independently to complete all your assigned project work within tight deadlines and heavy workloads
• Participate in project-level reviews of requirements, test plans, test scripts and system documentation
• Generate test data and recognize test environment preparation needs
• Develop your detailed test plans in support of requirements and technical designs
• Develop and execute your test scripts which validate requirements and support quality assurance methodologies and a quality product
• Document all defects identified during testing and provide testing metrics
• Follow all department policies and procedures regarding work product preparation
• Work with our Project Management and our Cross Teams to develop plans and estimates, identify risks and communicate project status
• Attend Project meetings, review Functional and Technical Documents
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• 3 or more years of experience in quality assurance testing
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, QA certifications preferred
• Financial Industry Experience (is a plus) – Bank or Credit Union preferred
• Knowledge of quality assurance standards, methodologies and processes used during all testing phases (Functional, System, Regression, User Acceptance, Performance)
• Knowledge of test automation and defect tracking tools for the development of manual and automated test scripts (Microsoft/TFS suite of tools – Test Manager, Coded UI Test and Load testing using Test Agent and Test Controller)
• Experience in the testing of Client Server applications developed using Microsoft .NET architecture for Windows platforms
